Listed below are pairings for the three Oregon School Activities Association state championship playoffs in which Lincoln County Schools participated in last week — Newport/Eddyville Charter in the 4A girls soccer tournament, Toledo High School in the 2A football playoffs and Waldport in the 1A-8 player football bracket.

After the Cubs girls soccer team fell in the first round last Tuesday to No. 1-seed Gladstone, the fifth-seeded Waldport football team beat Elgin at home Friday in a 1A, 8-player football first-round contest, before Weston-McEwen edged Toledo on Saturday at Jack Dahl Stadium in Toledo. Waldport hits the road for a 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12 quarterfinal game at Lost River.

Fans can purchase tickets in advance for all state playoff contests that run throughout the state through football championship games scheduled on Nov. 27, by going online and visiting https://www.osaa.org/shop/tickets.
