Listed below are Area 3 Oregon American Legion Baseball standings as of games played through July 12 as submitted to the News-Times by Kip Carlson, former Corvallis Gazette-Times sports writer and Oregon State assistant sports information director.
Each Area 3 team plays 12 league games to determine final regular season standings. The league champion receives an automatic bid to the Oregon American Legion Baseball state tournament.
Monday, July 18, is the final day of scheduled league regular season games. The state playoffs begin July 20 with a first-round game between the Area 2 fifth-place team and the fifth-place team from Area 3. The time and location of that first-round game had yet to be determined as of the News-Times sports’ deadline.
Following second-round games July 22 at Bill Gray Legion Stadium in Roseburg, the state tournament runs July 22-27, also at Bill Gray Legion Stadium.
