WILSONVILLE — Lincoln County schools failed to receive significant votes Tuesday when the Oregon School Activities Association released its weekly boys basketball coaches polls.

The Siletz Valley Warriors, who on Tuesday night gutted out a 54-52 road victory over 1A-3 Mountain West League-rival Eddyville Charter, was the last area boys program ranked in coaches polls, debuting at No. 9 on Dec. 24. And though Siletz Valley won its lone game since then, the Warriors haven’t since received the backing of voting coaches throughout the state.

In 2A, Toledo received enough votes to be mentioned in the previous week’s poll data, but the Boomers failed to make a dent in poll voting this week.

The OSAA plans to release boys basketball coaches polls every Tuesday throughout the regular season. Note that coaches polls have no impact on the OSAA’s ratings that form the basis of postseason playoff rankings. The following poll results feature first-place votes in parenthesis, and team records that reflect standings as of Tuesday, when polls were released.
