“What A Starry Night,” Newport High School’s prom, was held on April 29 at the Newport Armory. It was a super fun event that was well attended and had activities and desserts for all the students that attended. There was a live DJ, photo booth, multiple photo backdrops, photo wall, large dance floor, giant Jenga, giant tic-tac-toe, cornhole, blowup bowling, a dessert bar with so many delicious goodies, lights for days, and a yummy cake pop for this year's prom gift.

Newport High School Prom Committee would like to give a special thank you to the individuals and businesses that helped make this year's prom awesome! We appreciate our prom sponsors that made our event possible — Advantage Real Estate, Local Ocean Seafoods, Grove Veterinary Clinic, and JBQ Quality Construction. Several people also went above and beyond in their support for this year's prom. Joy Bruns and Helyn Layton made awesome desserts for the event. Gretchen Haver, Dave Lihou, and Helyn Layton all helped the prom committee out with decorations, setting up, and cleanup for the event. Thank you to everyone who made prom so special.
