My name is Mindie Rider. I am a former resident of Newport, and I have been lucky to call Celeste McEntee and her family good friends for the past 12 years. Celeste is a born leader who would undoubtedly serve the people of Oregon with great energy, enthusiasm and creativity.

Celeste is a kind, compassionate and trustworthy leader. Over the years, I have had many opportunities to watch Celeste manage projects, but one project that especially comes to mind is when we worked together on a charity event in Newport. Witnessing Celeste work so passionately and with such perfection and organization was an incredible example to those involved, and it was clear to see that her passion lies in serving her community. Celeste has a huge heart and makes a point of getting to know others, which was a skill that came in handy during our event because it enabled her to effortlessly understand the skills of those involved to maximize delegation opportunities. She then ensured responsibilities were completed without micromanaging. Everyone involved in our event trusted that with Celeste at the helm, we would be successful. And sure enough, because of her, we were able to put on an incredibly successful event that resulted in many donations to Northwest recipients in need.
