Terry Jay Johnson, born May 3, 1953, passed peacefully at his home surrounded by his loved ones on October 23, 2021. A longtime resident of Siletz, OR, Terry retired from Georgia Pacific and spent the last few years employed as a security officer for the N.O.A.A. Ships. He never missed an opportunity to explain the details of each ship and took much pride in his job. Terry enjoyed building model classic cars, collecting NASCAR, tinkering with washing machines, and of course visiting with many of his friends. Terry's easy going and gentle nature with his kind and generous spirit made him a loving and loyal son, brother, father and friend.

Terry was proceeded in death by his father, Jay Johnson of Siletz; and sons Raymond and Courtney Johnson of Siletz.

He is survived by his mother, June Johnson of Siletz; son, Jeremy Johnson of Florida; brother, Rusty Johnson of Siletz, and sisters, Bonnie and Anna Johnson; nine grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and far too many friends to count. He is also survived by his longtime fiance Kellie Shannon, and stepsons Brandon and Daryl Wolfe of Siletz, both whose company he greatly enjoyed. His presence and belly laugh will be missed by all of us.

A celebration of life will be held on a later date.
