A new wrinkle in Depoe Bay City Code enforcement, accepted by councilors at the May 16 city council meeting, directs city staff to identify and work proactively to solve nuisance code violations, starting with violations in public rights-of-way and violations that impact public health and safety.

The city wants to make explicit the ways and means of code enforcement in time for the stresses of tourist season, starting with the A-frame signs that dot the right-of-way along Highway 101.
