The Greater Newport Chamber of Commerce is holding events in-person again while maintaining safety and local protocols.

The chamber will be holding a luncheon at the American Legion (424 W Olive St., Newport) on Friday, Sept. 24, at noon. The featured speaker will be State Rep. David Gomberg, who will be sharing a legislative update. Chamber luncheons provide an opportunity to connect with Newport business community members and local leaders while learning about critical community topics.

Attendees are asked to pre-register and pre-pay online for lunch. Chamber member pricing is $15, and non-member pricing is $17. Chamber luncheons will be held every second and fourth Friday of the month.

The chamber is also restarting Business After Hours networking events, typically held each third Thursday at 5:15 p.m. The next Business After Hours will be held on Thursday, Sept. 23, at CrossCountry Mortgage, located at 1547 N Coast Highway in Newport. Light refreshments will be served.

More information is available at newportchamber.org/chamber-events, or by calling the Newport Chamber office at 541-265-8801.
