The Greater Newport Chamber of Commerce will hold a luncheon at the Hallmark Resort on Friday, Nov. 12, at noon. The featured speaker will be Rian Martinsen, business partner at BBSI, who will be sharing on the topic, “Strategic Business – From Planning to Leadership.”

Chamber luncheons provide an opportunity to connect with Newport business community members and local leaders while learning about critical community topics. Pre-registration for lunch is required and can be completed on the chamber website at www.newportchamber.org/events/calendar. This event is free to attend if not eating lunch.

The chamber will also hold a Business After Hours networking event on Thursday, Nov. 18, at 5:15 p.m. at Grocery Outlet, located at 721 N Coast Highway, Newport. This event is free to attend. Light refreshments will be served, and community members are welcome.

The chamber’s first Holiday Bazaar will take place Saturday, Nov. 20, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the American Legion in Newport. More than 20 vendors will be represented, with items such as handcrafted soaps, stained glass art, wool products, beaded jewelry and more. Admission is free, and raffle tickets will be available with a drawing every half hour (must be present to win). Raffle prizes are being donated by the bazaar vendors. Santa Octopus will be on site to take holiday photos at $5 per photo, and the American Legion will be serving up a $5 lunch, which includes a hotdog, chips, and a beverage.

More information on the above listed events is available at newportchamber.org or by calling the Newport Chamber office at 541-265-8801.
