The Siletz Tribal Council announced approval of a new extensive compensation package and incentive program for Chinook Winds Casino Resort. The casino is offering an additional $5 an hour summer bonus for current and new hires, a $1,000 sign-on bonus to select positions, and starting the first pay period in July, $15/an hour minimum wage for all positions except those highly tipped. More than 80 full and part-time jobs are open at this time.

“We know the employment market is competitive and people are looking for a long-term solution to meet their needs and talents. We provide benefits that are competitive and now we are increasing our pay structure to add to the strength of our hiring efforts,” said Brad Darcy, director of human resources.

The sign-on bonus is for select full and part time positions, with $500 after completion of 90 days and $500 again after completion of 180 days. All new hires will enjoy a comprehensive benefit package that includes: paid time off with a sell back option, free paid lunch, golf, health screenings, holiday pay, 401k with employer match, discounted fitness center membership, employee discounts and more.
