Red Octopus Theatre Company’s annual holiday production, “The Christmas Show,” is on stage at the Newport Performing Arts Center this weekend. Performances will be at 7 p.m. today (Friday), Dec. 17, and Saturday, Dec. 18, in the Alice Silverman Theatre at the PAC.

This year’s production, hosted by Stacy Fischer and a surprise guest, will benefit the Oregon Coast Council for the Arts, with all proceeds from ticket sales donated to OCCA’s Capital Campaign. Red Octopus is also, as in years past, encouraging food donations. Tickets to the show are $20 per person online, but audience members can save $5 on admission when they purchase in person at the PAC box office and bring two food donations to benefit Food Share of Lincoln County (no glass or expired products, please).

Red Octopus Theatre Company is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization and has been presenting live theater on the Oregon coast for more than 40 years. To learn more, visit wwww.OctopusOnStage.com
