The Newport Symphony Orchestra at the Ocean is now selling season tickets for its 2021-22 series of live performances.

Organizers say now, more than ever, these live music performances will offer an unforgettable experience, providing inspiration through music that has a place in everyone’s life, music that is diverse, music that provides experience and wonders during live performances and music that enhances the quality of life on Oregon’s central coast.

The season kicks off on Sept. 18 and 19 with “Homecoming, Reflection and Celebration.” That will be followed by “Daybreak of Freedom” on Nov. 6 and 7; “Baroque and Beyond For the Holidays” on Dec. 8; “Piano Spectacular” on Jan. 15 and 16; and “Latin Fireworks” on March 19 and 20.

Adam Flatt, NSO music director, said, “Let’s look ahead to the upcoming 2021-2022 NSO season with anticipation and, above all, delight that we can return and share the gift of great music, live in the performing arts center, with all the joy and community that is the NSO’s hallmark. It will be terrific to be back together with you.”

Subscription purchases opened to the public on Aug. 16 — season subscribers get a ticket discount. Single-ticket purchases will be available starting Aug. 30.
