Marilyn Elvira Whisenhunt passed away October 1st, 2019 in Crescent City, California.
She was born September 4, 1946 in California, where she graduated from Cloverdale High School in 1964. Marilyn married Alfred Whisenhunt in 1968 in Reno, Nevada, and they were married for 51 years.
Known as a deeply loving mother and grandmother that was always available for her friends and family, Marilyn enjoyed crocheting, bingo, reading and playing cards. Throughout her life, Marilyn worked many places.
Marilyn is survived by her husband Alfred Whisenhunt; children Jeff Davis, Tina Woodhull, Donna Magnuson, Bonnie Whisenhunt (Leo Lambert), Joyce Embree and Noah Whisenhunt. She leaves behind grandchildren Garry Hepburn (Wendy); Heather Bolen (Shayla); Samuel Sellars (Christy); Travis Sellars, Nathan Embree; Aaron Embree; Brent Thompson (Rachenda); Brice Thompson (Sammi); Lewis Embree; Stephanie Embree and Nathan Whisenhunt. Great grandchildren Riley Ashoff; Bexley Thompson; Lexey Sellars; Dillon Sellars; Ashley Sellers; Jocelyn Sellars; Hailey Sellars; Aiden Bolen; Aiden Wells; Layla Ashoff; Trask Hepburn and Hanna Hepburn. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her father and mother Russell and Barbara Wallace; brothers Thomas and Russell; and sons Jerry Davis and Wayne Whisenhunt.
A family gathering will be held in her honor at her home instead of funeral services. Cards and flowers may be sent to 975 Humboldt Street, Crescent City, CA 95531.
