NEWPORT —Oregon held the dubious distinction of having the most expensive gasoline in the continental United States for the second straight week.
A report from AAA Oregon found the average price for regular unleaded in the state was $3.89 per gallon this week. The average price slipped a penny from the previous week.
“Only drivers in Hawaii and Alaska are paying more,” said AAA Oregon spokeswoman Marie Dodds on the two states with a higher average price for regular unleaded gas.For the complete article see the 08-29-2014 issue.
