The installation of a new boat launch ramp at A.W. Jack Morgan Park six miles north of Siletz is complete just in time for the fall fishing season and a grand reopening celebration was held at the park on Tuesday.

Jack Morgan Park and Campground is 11 acres located along both sides of Highway 229. On the west side of the highway, there is the newly replaced boat ramp into the Siletz River, concrete vault restrooms, and a picnic area with tables. Fishing for chinook and steelhead on this section of the Siletz River is popular. The west side of the park is day use only, with no fee.
