LINCOLN CITY — A 61-year-old woman died from injuries suffered when she was hit by a pickup truck while crossing Highway 101, authorities said.
Roberta Morton, of Gales Ferry, Conn., was hit Aug. 25 by a 2000 Ford F250 pickup while legally making her way from the west side to the east side of the highway in the crosswalk at NW 6th Street in Lincoln City.
Morton was transported to Oregon Health & Science University in Portland where she died. The Lincoln City Police Department said it was informed of her death Wednesday.
The incident is under investigation.
