Warriors bring out new weapons

SILETZ — Last year, the Siletz Middle School football team put together an undefeated season, led by a crew of talented eighth grade players. Now its time for Reggie Butler Jr.’s high school program to reap some of the rewards of that hard work as a cadre of experienced players join the already talented Warriors varsity squad.

“We have some size coming in, and quickness on the line. Isaac Butler, he’s got some size for a freshman,” Reggie Butler Jr. said. “Mason Forty, he’s one of the fastest kids on our high school team. We had a good turnout of kids – they’re working hard. They’ve all played ball before.”
