LINCOLN COUNTY — Ten years ago, a small group of people with a huge love for animals and a desire to give back to the community formed Oregon Coast Therapy Animals (OTCA).

The crew of original OCTA members included Carol and Bruce Bishard, Kim Carlson, Shirley Fry, Lana Davis, Valerie Patterson and the late Roxanne Lechner, who had two therapy horses and a therapy dog over the years.

OCTA members gathered at the home of Linda Hill, the group’s current executive director, to celebrate 10 years of success Sunday, July 20.
