Graffiti: A growing problem in Waldport

WALDPORT — New paint jobs have been popping up around Waldport. Unfortunately, nobody has been asking for them.

Acts of vandalism and graffiti have been on the rise with spots throughout the community getting tagged last month.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office pinned down three suspected local vandals, all juveniles, following a July 10 investigation.

Spray paint damage to mailboxes, vehicles and fences in the area of Wakonda Beach Road just south of Waldport was the latest in a string of incidents.
