Newspaper will roll out new, reader-friendly look

After months of preparation, the staff at the News-Times will unveil a new look for the newspaper in Friday’s edition.

New design features will be evident throughout the paper, but most apparent will be the appearance of the front page and other section fronts, which have been developed to make better use of available space and present news in a more reader-friendly look.

“The main thing our readers need to know is that we are not scaling back our product in any way,” said Managing Editor Steve Card. “The News-Times is committed to covering Lincoln County as we have in the past, but we thought it was time to give the paper a fresh, more modern look.”
