NEWPORT — It’s a tragedy no school ever wants to face, but one all must prepare for.
Tuesday’s shooting at Reynolds High School in Troutdale, ending with the death of two students, including the shooter, has Lincoln County School District members thinking about school safety.
“We are all thinking of Reynolds High School tonight and their very misfortunate incident,” school board member Liz Martin said at a meeting Tuesday.
She added that members of the district will keep the school’s community in their thoughts, and she hopes “the madness stops soon.”
