LINCOLN CITY — City officials have hired an outside law firm to adjust a cable television contract they say will harm some low-income viewers.
But they also acknowledge there may be little they can do to head off new equipment charges, rising cable fees and one-sided decisions that will affect Lincoln City residents.
In a recent letter to the city, Charter Cable revealed its intention to initiate all-digital TV programming in the near future. Charter is the only franchised cable operator in Lincoln City.
