Teacher survey shows areas needing improvement, highlights those ‘to be excited about’

LINCOLN COUNTY — Teaching, Empowering, Leading and Learning (TELL) survey results released last week have painted a picture for the Oregon Department of Education, and that picture reflects Lincoln County School District well.

More than 19,300 – just under 60 percent – of school-based educators around the state completed the survey, which is in its first year in Oregon. Educators were asked to rate a wide range of questions on a scale of “strongly agree” to “strongly disagree” in eight areas, such as facilities and resources, professional development and managing student conduct.
