Old school cool — Barnacle Bill’s sells fish the old-fashioned way

LINCOLN CITY — In the fast-paced age of the Internet, when “hits” and global reach are considered progressive earmarks of business achievement, Barnacle Bill’s Seafood Market measures its success the old-fashioned way.

“We just try to give really good service to our customers,” said Sean Edmunds, the 27-year-old manager of an enterprise that seems happily locked in the Eisenhower era. “We’re pretty old school and haven’t jumped into the online sales yet. But who knows what’s in the future?”
