A good week for whale watching Volunteers staff sites along coast daily

LINCOLN COUNTY Thousands of visitors flocked to the central Oregon coast last weekend for spring break. Many of them were also keeping their eyes peeled for whales. Spring Whale Watch Week continues through Saturday.

Gray whale numbers usually peak around the last week of March as the whales pass along the coast during their spring migration.
