Apgar honored at Western Oregon Players, crowd show support for Toledo native fighting cancer

MONMOUTH – The casual fan may have been surprised at the scene in the stands at McArthur Field at Western Oregon University last Saturday. The Wolves typically red and white clad fans were now a sea of black and orange as WOU’s football team took the field for their final home game of the season.

It was a show of support for one of their own.
