Visiting the ghosts of the coast Walking tours begin today to explore Newport’s haunted history

NEWPORT – Darkness comes early these days, and the winter mist has settled over the central coast. It’s the season of howling winds and desolate-sounding crows, a spooky time of year in Newport. Enter Spirit Expeditions, who will be offering Haunted History walking tours of Nye Beach. The first tour is scheduled for tonight (Friday).
