In just one day, Santini accounted for 17 of 35 bags of food destined for the Depoe Bay food bank. The “Bag Hunger” campaign, which runs through Nov. 5, allows compassionate shoppers to buy a $20 bag of food bank groceries for $10. “Each bag has canned foods, juice, cereals and other goodies,” said Santini. “It all stays here in the local area and helps people we know.” For the complete article see the 10-18-2013 issue.
