LINCOLN COUNTY – They’re called “The Greatest Generation,” and they come with many simple, yet incredibly meaningful stories. Some years ago, they were young and strong, ready and willing to defend their country. Now, as the years have passed and the times have changed, many of them have to use wheelchairs, canes or walkers to make it from place to place during a long day of travel – their youthful energy has faded.
