Board sinks Siletz motor changes

The new park planned at Ojalla Bridge includes better drift boat access to the Siletz River. Currently, anglers  have to push their drift boats down this steep muddy path to reach the river. After more than a year of study and two public hearings, the Oregon State Marine Board this week in a 3-1 decision ruled out any changes to current motorboat regulations on the Siletz River.
