Oregon Coast Community College biology students collaborate to dismantle and examine the new heart and knee models during an anatomy and physiology (A&P) class taught by Hal Nash. The Siletz Tribe Charitable Contribution Fund recently awarded Oregon Coast Community College a $4,359 grant to purchase new anatomical models in support of biology students. Many of the A&P students seek to gain entry into the college’s nursing program. The college invested an additional $6,600 to complete the transition to new models.
