“Quilt Quest (the search for the ‘Holey Quilt’)” will feature 250 to 300 quilts hung up and down Toledo’s Main Street from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, May 11 and 12.
Colorful and unique quilts will make bright banners both inside and outside the various shops along the street. This annual quilt show is sponsored by the Toledo Downtown Association.
A bed-turning (a display of antique quilts piled onto a bed) will take place at Quilters’ Cottage, 333 North Main St., in Toledo. Sellers also will be at this quilt shop with tickets for two raffle quilts: Oregon Coastal Quilters Guild’s “Baskets from Grandmother,” and “Garden Pink,” a raffle to benefit Samaritan House homeless family shelter. For the complete article see the 05-10-2013 issue.
