Volunteers are invited to join the Salmon Drift Creek Watershed Council and the U.S. Forest Service in freeing hundreds of trees on Earth Day, Monday April 22 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Pixieland.
The former site of Pixieland, a 40-acre amusement park built in a tidal marsh in the Salmon River Estuary, has been undergoing ecological restoration for the past five years.
