In 1998, Lincoln City voters approved funding to purchase and preserve open spaces in a natural state for future generations. Today, Lincoln City has more than 350 acres of open space. In celebration, each day of Arbor Week, April 8-12, the Lincoln City Parks Board will host one-hour tours of an open space, beginning at 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Due to limited parking at the open space accesses, the city is providing shuttle service leaving from the community center 15 minutes before each tour.
