Costumers are hard at work on ‘South Pacific’

“South Pacific,” the much-beloved Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, is currently in rehearsal with the Red Octopus Theatre Company. This award-winning show features many memorable songs and dance numbers, including “Some Enchanted Evening,” “I’m Gonna Wash That Man Right Outa My Hair,” and “There is Nothing Like a Dame.” It tells of love and prejudice in the South Pacific during World War II and was controversial when it was first produced.
