Boomer baseball gets taste of 2A, drops 9-0 to P-Hill

Hitting in the clutch can be simulated in practice and stressed in batting cage skull sessions, but it's harder to implement in game situations against talented pitchers one's never faced before.

Toledo had six hits against defending state semi-finalist Pleasant Hill on Tuesday, but no runs. The Billies, on the other hand, tallied eight hits and rolled up nine runs to defeat the Boomers 9-0.
