Life-saving donation

Lindsey Schrader, RN, assisted first time blood donor Virginia Wyman during a Red Cross blood drive Thursday, March 14, at the Oregon Coast Aquarium. Forty units of life-saving blood were collected at the event. For donors who missed this blood drive, two more are scheduled in April – on Tuesday, April 9, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the community room at Oregon Coast Community College, 400 SE College Way in South Beach; and Tuesday, April 23 from 12:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 927 N.
