Dressler recruiting efforts pay off for Taft track

If Tim Dressler ever tires of teaching and coaching at Taft High School, he might have a future career as an Army recruiter or occupational headhunter.

After struggling to turn out a large squad the last handful of years, Taft has piled up the biggest track team in nearly seven years with more than 50 kids. Dressler said when a coach is building a track program, you want to get anybody and everybody. Start with numbers, then work on the talent, he presumes.
