Dry-docked police boat readied for boardings

The Guardian, a 50-foot former charter boat, sits in dry dock at Riverbend Marine Service where it is being outfitted with a 14-foot Zodiac runabout and hoist for boarding vessels at sea. NEWPORT A 50-foot deep-sea cruiser operated by the Oregon State Police is in dry dock at Riverbend Marine Service on Yaquina Bay Road where it is being equipped with a 14-foot runabout boat that will allow game wardens to board other vessels at sea.
