Lincoln Pops brings Big Band sound

“Saturday Night with the Lincoln Pops Big Band” is set for 7 p.m. Saturday at the Newport Performing Arts Center.

The Lincoln Pops Big Band, led by John Bringetto, is dedicated to preserving and passing along the heritage of the big band era. The band will perform some hard-driving jazz, ballads, Latin and blues and even a polka (with accordion solo).
