Task force looks for alternate log truck routes

NEWPORT – A joint Port of Newport-City of Newport vehicle and pedestrian safety task force on Wednesday concluded that finding an alternate to SE Moore Drive for log trucks headed to the International Terminal won’t be quick, easy or cheap.
