A story in the Feb. 13 News-Times (“Wave energy rules spare Newport commercial development’) incorrectly stated that an amendment to the Territorial Sea Plan set aside 2 percent of state waters for wave energy development. The plan adopted by Land Conservation and Development Commission, based on state staff recommendations, set aside 3 percent of the 1,200-square-mile territorial sea for renewable energy development.
