Sharon and John Butler share a dance while their infant son, Simon, takes a nap during the Parent/Child Valentine’s Day Dance at the Yachats Commons on Friday, Feb. 8. The Yachats Youth and Family Activities Program sponsored the dance so that children and their families could celebrate Valentine’s Day in a fun, community environment. Organizers hope to make it an annual event.
