Hospital employee receives regional nursing award

Nancy Reid, RN, CWCN, CFCN, from Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital (SPCH) Outpatient Treatment Center was awarded the Outstanding Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (WOCN) of the year at the recent Northwest Region WOCN conference in Portland.

The award is given annually by the WOCN committee to a member who has made an outstanding contribution to the field of wound, ostomy and continence nursing. Seven other SPCH nurses joined Reid at the conference: Ruth Moreland RN, CWCN, CFCN; Martha Llewellyn RN, CFCN; Paula Beck RN, WCC; Camie Cutter RN; Pat Conway RN, CWOCN, CFCN, MSN; and Patty Kuhn RN, WCC, CFCN.
