Home School Days An Ocean of Engineering, is set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday, March 15, through Monday, March 18, at Hatfield Marine Science Center, 2030 SE Marine Science Dr. in South Beach.
Students from grades pre-kindergarten to 12th-grade participate with others in their grade level in classes about ocean engineering. They are invited to build boats, buoys and structures to test against ocean waves in the new visitor center wave tanks.
