New report on tsunami threat says coast is not prepared

SALEM — A new report issued by the Office of Emergency Management on Tuesday called into question ongoing preparations for “the next Cascadia earthquake and tsunami,” an inevitable disaster that experts now say could lead to the economic collapse and depopulation of the Oregon coast.
