Woman cited for driving while suspended after crash
A Siletz woman was involved in a single-vehicle crash on Highway 229 near milepost 28 on Sunday.
According to an Oregon State Police patrol log, Theresa Dawn Hervey was traveling north in a 2002 Ford Escape when she failed to negotiate a leftward sweeping curve and drove off the east side of the roadway. Hervey’s vehicle collided with a tree.
She was transported by Pacific West Ambulance to Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital for treatment of injuries. Police say she was wearing her seatbelt and airbags deployed. The Oregon State Police later cited Hervey for driving while suspended.For the complete article see the 02-06-2013 issue.
