Cecily Wechter to perform in ‘Dances from the Heart’

Pacific Dance Ensemble’s 15th annual free performance and benefit auction, “Dances from the Heart,” will feature original choreography by PDE alumni Cecily Wechter, director Nancy Mittleman and PDE members.

“Dances from the Heart” will be presented at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Feb. 8 and 9, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, at the Newport Performing Arts Center, 777 W. Olive St. This Valentine’s celebration also offers a silent auction featuring items donated by many local and regional artists.
