Foreign aid worker to talk about Yemen

Veteran foreign aid worker Kyle Foster will give a brief presentation at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, focusing on current conditions in the Yemen Arab Republic and the work he has done over the years to provide relief and development aid to this country.

Yemen has become a strong focus of U.S. foreign policy lately, especially in terms of U.S. drone attacks and the continuing “war on terror.”

The talk will be held in the card room at the Rogue Ales Public House, 748 SW Bay Blvd. on Newport’s Bayfront.
