For the first time, the annual event called Be Jeweled will present a section of new jewelry donated by local artists. These crafted pieces will be priced at retail for the benefit of Food Share of Lincoln County.
The event is set from 9 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., and noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at the Shilo Inn Suites Hotel, 536 SW Elizabeth St. in Newport.
Among the participating artists are Ann Nicholson, Paula Cline-Jones, Anja Chavez, Cheri Aldrich, Alita Pearl, Linda Cline, Rhonda Chase and Katy Lareau.
